We believe “Get from the society, and then feed back to it”, therefore while operating business and creating wealth, we also contribute to built social harmony, stability and material and spiritual civilization. For a long time, we are enthusiastic in public-spirited industry, and actively in benevolent activities, such as donors to rural education and environment protecting. After a long-time continuous input, we realize the poor children’s dream to go to school,we make it possible for them to study in the bright class, so that the rising sun will continue? distributing? endless light and heat.

Great support to rural education
After the Reform and Open Policy, Armada grasped the opportunity and achieved success on business. In 1999, Armada, Yangcheng Evening News and Guangzhou Sanqi Bus established Ci’en Fund. We give donations to support education in Liannan Area every year and built primary schools in Liannan and Pingzhen.
Besides focus on the whole society, just as the establishment of Ci’en Fund, donation to Liannan and Pingchen ,we also do a lots in details: we support mountain children to go to school, from elementary and junior high schools , give them the opportunity to receive higher education, and to contribute to society.
We are full of enthusiasm towards education .Our help like a slice of spring wind, blows across the mountains, warming the hearts of the children of ; like a rain, drops into the remote areas , nourishing the heart of the children. Knowledge is power, education is essential way to get a better life, we have been quietly and selfless helping the poor in education ,brings them the hope of spring.

Enthusiastic attention in the environment in Beijing
We care about what the sociaty cares. We pay much attention to the country’s environmental protection cause all the time and advocate sustainable development. We believe that,
Development must not based on the cost of the environment, the harmony of the environment, economic and social development is the goal and the only way to economic development. Thus while operating business and creating wealth, we pay more attention to the coordination of economic and environmental capacity , we undertake responsibility of protecting environmental.
To solve the surrounding soil erosion, desertification of the land, and control the sandstorms and fundamentally changed the surrounding areas of the ecological environment in Beijing, after the demonstration by Chinese Information and Culture Foundation and China Forestry Authorities, and approval of central and relevant departments, the commonweal project “Beijing water source and forest” was started in Beijing on 21 th September, 2004. In the initiation ceremony, our subsidiary, Sunshine Bus, donated ￥300,000, and planted 100 seedlings. The project is planned to be finished in 2007, and is supposed to be the gift for Green Olympic.
The 21st century is the century of environmental protection. When the resources and the environment has become a bottleneck for economic and social development, and when the ecological environment has become an important problems of people's lives ,Armada assume their social responsibility and take an active part in these social welfare activities , in the contemporary era and benefit future generations!

Friendliness in bus, harmony in society
“Harmonious society” was put forward at the 4th meeting of the 16th National Party Congress. As a leading bus company, we abandon the crude attitude in the service industry . Our image has impressed the citizens. Armada persists in the lines of opening-mind, seeking truth from facts and advancing with the times,carrying out activities innovation,caring about the passengers in details,and finally let enterprises civilized image deep into the hearts of people. In 2006, in the 20th anniversary of the activity of “Friendliness in bus”, two bus subsidiaries hold a children painting competition, with the topic of “friendliness, mutual assistance and advocacy of environment”.

Developing environment-friendly bus

Air pollution caused by bus emissions has severely affected the public image of our bus industry. As people’s awareness of environment protection markedly increased, environment-friendly buses, whose fuel is LPG and CNG developed rapidly. Although the effectiveness of the new buses was recognized, however, compared with new generation of technological innovation of buses and international energy strategy, it hangs behind to an extent. As 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games approaching, to build first class company in bus industry, we introduced 30 hybrid technological buses, and made them into operation on 11 January, 2008. The emissions of these hybrid technological buses meet the Euro V standards, in a result, the release of greenhouse gas will be further reduced significantly.
Activities we take in 2008 are very crucial to achieve the goal of saving energy and reducing emission, as well as obtain further development. Therefore, we and our subsidiaries, will continue to use more environment-friendly buses, implement the policy of saving energy and reducing emission, give assistant effect to bus industry developing in Guangzhou and society stability and make contribution to actualize “Green Asia Games and Green Guangzhou”.

Launching “I love Guangzhou” with Guangzhou Daily
With more than 50 years of gestation, Guangzhou has shaped its own core value, “be pioneers, progressive, united and independent”. Supported by the Reform and Opening Policy, Guangzhou developed rapidly. 1 December, 2007 is the 55th anniversary of Yiqi Bus and Guangzhou Daily, and we together launched “I love Guangzhou” and series activities. Eye-catching logo with slogan “I love Guangzhou” appeared in over 2,000 buses in Guangzhou. For 55 years, we, Yiqi Bus, and all Guangzhou citizens both witnessed the development and achievements of Guangzhou, and will continue to build a new powerful Guangzhou together.
